Looking for a forever home
Dogs of Fun recently did a photo shoot for Cavalier Rescue of Florida and met two of the sweetest pups ever: Clancy and Abby. These two best friends are seniors looking for a forever home together. The goal for this shoot was to show how active, playful, and happy they are and transmit their energetic and playful personalities.
It is extremely important for potential adopters to be able to see themselves as the new dog parents. To make these images more relatable to the prospective pet parents, we went CocoWalk in Coconut Grove, Miami. The idea behind the doggy photoshoot was to have them in a very dog-friendly and populated neighborhood. When people see these pups walking on a leash in areas they know and visit regularly, it is easier for them to picture themselves as being the proud doggy parent. Also, by taking the dogs to a new area, we ignited their curiosity and it was easier for them to shine and show their personality.
When doing photography for furry friends looking for a forever home, one of my goals is to capture extremely relatable (and enticing) images for potential dog adopters. Clancy and Abby were a ball of fun, very sweet and excited for the shoot. They snuck in petting time and kisses and enjoyed their morning stroll. It is also of utmost importance to mention how soft they are, I could pet them forever.
